Careful now
I am overgrown with his sorrow,
Overcome.
Collapsed in a heart attack;
he memorizes things to unsettle me
my organs, he says, are not worth more
than any body.
With these words I shut
for in my eagerness I know
he will just dissolve me;
swallow me like the rivers swell
in spring.
